Holiday Inn Express North Hollywood - Burbank Area, an IHG Hotel

This was an excellent hotel. Our room was updated, spacious, and beautiful. Short drive to universal. Loved the secure parking under the hotel, and having a security guard on premises. The lobby was gorgeous. We utilized the outdoor pool and as east coasters we were excited to swim outside in November. The staff was nice. The free breakfast was nice. We did door dash to have dinner delivered 2 nights.

Came here on a work trip and was unexpectedly surprised in a good way. Came down here to LA for work and usually it is limited to where we are able to stay at. I did not give it much thought to the hotel and thought it was going to be like every other. But amazingly I enjoyed my stay here. The room had everything I needed to work from the hotel-desk area, good WiFi, but was surprised me most was the staff. The guy at the front desk called to check up on me to see if I had everything I needed and that was the first time that has ever happened in all the hotels I've been to. Rodrigo was awesome - he went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my stay, took time to help me find some places around the area so I can run my errand. He was so nice that I think I stayed a bit longer in the front lobby just to chat with him. It really made my day-I can't remember the last time a person at the front desk checking me in was genuinely nice. I would give an extra star on yelp for his customer service if I could.

Great Staff polite and courteous! Always clean and accessible for me and my chair. The Breakfast Bar is phenomenal and The Sweet lady who prepares Breakfast is always kind and wonderful to the guests. The food is always hot and Delicious. Safe neighborhood and close to all your needs. This Holiday Inn is where you want to stay when you're in the Los Angeles area. Bring your swimsuit as the pool is waiting.

Manager Josh was extremely impolite when attempting to check me in. I had my husband’s credit card, not mine, which was against policy for checkin. Fine, but had to call corporate for potential solutions (which were denied) as opposed to the check in manager offer help. Even if I was against policy demeanor matters especially in guest services. Used to come here for work offsites and recommended this hotel to my colleagues. You can be assured I won’t come back.
